Do you sell gold plated or vermeil jewelry?

No! I never buy plated or vermeil jewelry for myself, and would never source it for you. I work hard to source incredible estate pieces - all of which are tested to ensure they are made of real solid gold. 

Can I request custom sourcing?

Yes! If you are seriously looking for a piece and don't want to spend the time to find it yourself, send me a message and I will hunt it down for you. I will require a deposit as custom sourcing is very time consuming! You can email me at natalie@austrajewelry.com or contact me in the contact section for more information. 

Will there be signs of wear and love on my jewelry? 

Yes! Estate and vintage jewelry has a history, and that history includes prior owners. This means that you will not be receiving a brand new piece - but this is part of what makes estate jewelry so cool. Please examine photos carefully and look at my instagram for even more pictures of the pieces that are available. I do my best to point out any flaws, but you should expect to see signs of wear. If you like the perfectly shiny / brand new gold look, you can always take your new old gold to your jeweler to have it polished. If you still have questions, please message me via DM or through the contact form on the website.  

Can you size the ring for me?

Currently I am not offering this service. I believe it is best for you to take your new ring to your preferred jeweler and have the ring sized to fit the finger of your choice.

Do you offer layaway?

I am not currently offering layaway.  

How fast do you ship pieces?

I generally get pieces out within 2 business days. Which shipping service / speed you choose is up to you in the checkout process. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! I am working on having international shipping available as part of my regular checkout process, but for now I can organize shipping for customers directly. Please send me a message with the piece you are interested in via the contact form or email me at natalie@austrajewelry.com for a custom quote. Please note that all duties and taxes will be your responsibility. I also recommend insurance. International shipping takes time and packages can be delayed getting through customs.

What happens if my package disappears in transit?

Once the package has left my hands and is in care of the shipping authorities, it is no longer my responsibility. I insure all packages through shipsurance. That cost is calculated into the shipping prices. 

Can I return my jewelry?

I want you to love your new (old) jewelry, so I will accept returns within 5 days (not business days) of your receipt of the package. That means you have 5 days to initiate the return with me. Items must be received by me unused and in the same condition as they were when they first left my hands. Return shipping is on you, I must receive the piece within 3 business days, and the original shipping costs are not refundable. I will not credit you until I receive the piece and have examined that it is in the same condition as when it was sold. If it has been altered or damaged then I will send it back to you. Additionally, this means, if the package is lost or goes missing, then I am not responsible. If you receive your piece and there is an issue, please contact me via the contact form or email me at natalie@austrajewelry.com to discuss it.
